CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW PPO LICENSE

California’s economy is bigger than that of any other state. That’s why it is a great place to lice and a great place to do business. But doing business here can also be confusing – not to mention frustrating, taxing, and perplexing! You’ve got to think about licenses, insurance, human resources hurdles, client retention and about a thousand other things. On top of all of that the California Code of Regulations requires you to issue a Certificate of Completion to each officer for each training course that you provide. Let us help you!

  • Educational Benefits

CALSAGA plans training seminars called Security University in Northern and Southern California on the issues that are important to our members and their businesses. While these courses are appropriate for and relevant to industry veterans, they were designed for those new to the industry or new PPO license holders. The CALSAGA Annual Conference brings together industry experts and private security companies to discuss topics concerning the security industry, and provides members with the opportunity to network with peers from across the state. In 2022 the CALSAGA Ambassador Committee launched Coffee Chats which are virtual events that feature relevant programming and provide the opportunity for networking.

  • Training Compliance

CALSAGA offers a complete training program to help Private Patrol Operators (PPO) comply with AB 2880 training regulations. In addition to the training modules, CALSAGA also offers an online database system to track your officers’ training and print out serialized certificates.

  • Network Partner Programs

With all the pressure on your bottom line, CALSAGA membership can improve your business at both ends. Our discount and affinity programs can bring substantial savings on your costs, and our client referral programs can help bring in new business. See a list of Network Partners.

  • BSIS/Regulatory Advocacy

CALSAGA has a close working relationship with BSIS and often partners with the Chief and staff to discuss programs to improve public and consumer safety. Our team will serve as an advocate to the BSIS and Department of Consumer Affairs on your behalf.

  • Political Action and Activity

Many of those targeting our industry are among the most politically powerful entities in California. Our Security Political Action Committee (PAC) helps support elected officials and candidates who are proponents of CALSAGA and our industry. Read more about our Legislative Advocacy.

  • Information Sharing

CALSAGA strives to disseminate the latest industry news; member updates from the BSIS and CALSAGA are disseminated via email, social networking mediums such as Twitter, Facebook and the CALSAGA blog.
