CALSAGA plans training seminars in Northern and Southern California on the issues that are important to our members and their businesses. Our Annual Conference brings together industry experts and private security companies to discuss topics concerning the security industry, and provides members with the opportunity to network with peers from across the state.
CALSAGA offers a complete training program to help Private Patrol Operators (PPO) comply with AB 2880 training regulations. In addition to the training modules, CALSAGA also offers an online database system to track your officers’ training and print out serialized certificates. CALSAGA has a close working relationship with BSIS and often partners with the Chief and staff to discuss programs to improve public and consumer safety. Our annual membership pricing is as follows:
PPO – Company in possession of a Private Patrol Operator license issued by the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services; $250 per year + ($6.50 x Number of Officers) [Discounts are automatically applied for the first two years of membership]
PSE – Company in possession of a Proprietary Security Employer registrationissued by the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services; $250 per year + ($6.50 x Number of Officers) [Discounts are automatically applied for the first two years of membership]
PSTF – Company in possession of a Training Facility Firearm and/or a Training Facility Baton license issued by the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services; $495 per year
Associate Members – Companies or Vendors who do not utilize a PPO License AND who provide a good and/or service to our PPO, PSE, and/or PSTF members; $495 per year
