Breaking News Regarding COVID-19

Today Governor Gavin Newsom issued a limited Stay at Home order that extends to all counties in California that are in the purple tier. Currently, 40 of California’s 58 counties are in the purple tier.

The curfew order states that non-essential work and gatherings must stop between 10pm – 5am. The order goes into effect on Saturday, November 21st at 10pm and will remain in place for one month.

As a reminder, the private security industry is classified as essential. Included as one of the sixteen Critical Infrastructure Sectors, the Emergency Services Sector website states:

The ESS also includes private sector resources, such as industrial fire departments, private security organizations, and private emergency medical services providers.

Please remind all of your officers to carry his or her Guard Card at all times while on duty and while traveling to and from work.
