Over the last ten years, CALSAGA has worked tirelessly to develop relationships with legislators and educate them on our industry with measurable success. In many instances, legislators, who previously had no knowledge of the security industry, became ambassadors for CALSAGA and carried landmark legislation in licensing, training and background screening standards that have made California a leader in the industry.

We don’t stop there though. CALSAGA will always represent its members on general business issues impacting employers including workers’ compensation, meal and rest break and other labor and employment issues impacting  your bottom line. As new issues arise, we will continue to reach out and partner with allied industries to achieve common goals in order to determine whether to oppose or support legislation impacting the general business community.

CALSAGA is THE VOICE of the private security industry, but it wasn’t always that way.
